100 Things About Me - Installment #9

These installments are coming fast and furious because I'm getting really, really close to my 100th post. It should be later this week. And for suffering through learning about 100 quirky things about me, I plan on rewarding you handsomely. My 101st post will be a giveaway!

Here is my 9th installment (#81-90):
81. My sons are 15 months apart to the day.

82. When I was young, I wanted to be a Navy Blue Angel when I grew up.

83. In Guatemala, I've climbed Temple IV and the Pyramid of the Lost World at the Tikal ruins.

84. I scream for ice cream.

85. I'm all about efficiency (cost efficiency, time efficiency, etc.).

86. I could eat air-popped popcorn for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

87. I taught both my boys some sign language when they were little. I still use the sign for "potty" when I don't want to embarrass them (or myself).

88. I'm not afraid of snakes, spiders or sharks.

89. But I'm terrified of bats because one flew into my hair in the Philippines when I was little.

90. I "wore" both my boys when they were babies (and I still wear Logan sometimes when he's sick). I plan on being cremated with my sling.

  1. How two youngest are 15 months apart too! Oh wait..did we talk about that on the phone? LOL

  2. Carey, you are truly an amazing person. I am so glad that I am getting to know you! Have a great day!

  3. Love this... but I am terrified of spiders! ah!

  4. I have a phobia for spiders and snakes but I think my chances of a shark encounter are pretty slim!

  5. I scream for ice cream, too! Stopping by from SITS rollcall to say howdy!

  6. LOL! These are so fun! You've lived a great life, already! I do NOT like spiders...the big black ones like to visit us sometimes! Eww!
Alex could eat popcorn for every meal, too...although he likes butter! So healthy!
A giveaway will be so fun!!! can't wait!

  7. Let's talk about #90. Are you really going to be cremated? Because I totally want that and my husband refuses. What rights has he in this regard? I'm going to have to draft something up.

  8. How fun! I wear my son too - and I have 4 slings! Which sling did you use? :)

Stopping by from SITS! Stop by my blog and entery my latest giveaway!

  9. You're not afraid of snakes or spiders? Ahh!

  10. I taught my kids sign language too. So fun! I am terrified of snakes and sharks. Thank God when I was in the Philippines I didn't get a bat in my hair.
You are very well travelled my friend.

Yeah! I love comments! Feel free to leave me one (or two or three).
But remember what your mama said..."If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."
