Silly boys!

You get what you get...

Jack said that when he grows up he wants to be a "builder" because he's really good at building things.

To which Scott said, "Will you build Mama and Papa a house?"

"Not today."

Scott clarifies, "No, I didn't mean today. When you're grown up and a builder...we'd like our house to be walking distance to the beach from the backyard and walking distance to a pond or lake from the front yard."

To which Jack replied, "Papa, you get what you get and you don't get upset."

The doctor will see you now...

Logan and I were sitting on the edge of my bed. "I'm the doctor. You lie down, Mama," he says as he pushed me over.

"I look in your ears. Mama, you have dirt!"

"I look in your mouth," he said as he pried my mouth open with his little fingers. "Mama, you have apples in there."

"I look in your nose. Mama, you have spiderweb in there!," he said laughing.

I said, "Your bedside manner leaves a little something to be desired!"

  3. Cute stories! Watch my blog in the future - I'm going to put out a contest for funniest/cutest kid stories, and maybe ask for guest bloggers to share some funny memories of their kiddos soon. Anyway, love the blog design - is it new?

  4. Those boys are so sweet!! Apples, eh? Kids, I tell ya, the most effective form of entertainment ;) The most expensive too, but anyway.........

Jillian said some pretty dandy things last night, I wrote about them on The Zoo's blog. Enjoy!

And yes, I did get your grocery price list, thank you!!!!!! DH cracked up about caged eggs and free roaming chickens, too cute. I appreciate the help, it gave us pretty good insight as to what to expect. I think the prices are comparable price-per-price, plus exchange rate.

Love ya bundles! Have a great day!

  5. those are cure stoies! My olest when he was 3 went to his aunties house that was being built. It was just framed at the time and he told his auntie he didn't like her house "because it was broke".

Yeah! I love comments! Feel free to leave me one (or two or three).
But remember what your mama said..."If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."
Thanks!
