The other side of the camera - Painted lady (and boys)

Forever In Blue Jeans
I'm participating in what I think is a really smart weekly challenge hosted by Carin at Forever in Blue Jeans. It seems like mamas spend an awful lot of time behind the camera. The idea of this challenge is for mamas to get on the other side of the camera in at least one photo a week.

When my boys grow up they'll inherit hundreds of thousands of photos taken from their childhood, but how many of those will show their mama? At least for this year I can answer 52!

This was an idea I was going to include in my Tuesday Tips for Summer Survival, but well, you know...I bailed halfway through the summer.

On a very, very warm day, the boys stripped down and make quick use of some body paint. I even got in the act.

  9. Wow! You are an extremely fun mom! My boys would love to hang out with you! lol I can only manage to break down and let them create big messes like that every once in a while. But I bet they would love that and it can't be any worse than their mud experience!

Great pictures, I love how much fun you and your boys are having!

  21. We spent years telling Jillian (and the boys) not to paint/write/draw on anything else than paper. I SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO want to do that, but wonder how we'd manage to explain to her that it's only OK this *ONE* time, LOL! Looks like fun, though. Perhaps we'll do it as part of a "Welcome to California" followed by a big ol "pool party" when we move :o)

Yeah! I love comments! Feel free to leave me one (or two or three).
But remember what your mama said..."If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."
Thanks!
