It's so hard...

All this summer I heard:

You just don't get it! - Jack
Can I have an iPod? - Jack
You ruined my life! - Logan
I'm not your son anymore! - Jack

It's so hard raising teenagers...
Oh, wait...my kids are 4 and 3.

And, yes, I did laugh out loud when my 3 year old informed me that I ruined his life!

  1. I'm glad you laughed at that, because I laughed reading it. My 4yo told me I was lazy the other day, all because I put bubbles in his bath. When did bubbles become a symbol of laziness instead of fun?!

  3. Yesterday Alexander called me a jerk. I told him not to talk to his mother like that. He said "I hate you," and stormed off. I laughed too!

  4. If you get them to where they say you ruined their life, you've struck parenting gold!

  7. Too funny. I have gotten the "this is the worst day of my life" before. I have to laugh at that one too.
They say the funniest things sometimes.

  10. Those are funny and I hear similar things from my 7 year old a lot. He's actually went as far as to tell me that I am NOT his mom, it's all a lie, he was not in my stomach, etc. lol He's always telling me he's going to find a new mom, and I'm the meanest ever {and I'm actually way too easy on him}. He also says "worst day ever" a lot!

I always tell my son that "I never talked to my mommy like that!" Doesn't work! LOL

Yeah! I love comments! Feel free to leave me one (or two or three).
But remember what your mama said..."If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."
Thanks!
