While running out the door I noticed that I had a strange looking bleach stain on my black yoga-style pants (which is really strange because I don't use bleach and furthermore, I don't do yoga). I didn't have time to change (heck I barely had time to put on the unattractive outfit I was already wearing) so...
I used a black permanent marker to color over the unsightly stain making it look like a much more acceptable wet spot.
i did this once, but it was on my black heels. and the lady at the store made me do it.
ReplyDeleteYou make me smile. This tip is perfect - even if only to those of us who have been there and could have used the tip sooner!
ReplyDeleteLOLOLOL! Good tip, Carey!! I will remember that, for sure!
ReplyDeletehahahahaha love it!!
ReplyDeleteLOL!!! Was it a Sharpie or a washable Crayola in which case you will need to remember to do this again ;)
ReplyDeleteBtw, my mother gave me a neat tip involving cream of tartar! If you have ever tried to cut potatoes (for boiling, mashing, etc) before cooking them you know the potatoes turn a hideous browny beige, well sprinkle the cream of tartar lightly over them and they will remain their true potato-y color! Ya happy I told ya that?!!!
I have done that so many times. You are too funny. It does work though
ReplyDeleteYOu know this is one of my favorite tips actually. Cuz, ummmm, I have done it.
ReplyDeleteAnd I think your 50 Rocks post was stellar. Sad but stellar. What a wonderful way to show the passage of time. And WOW only 50? A big hug to you.
I use sharpies all the time on things other than paper. Who knew!
ReplyDeleteI've done that too and it works great! :)
ReplyDeletei love love love love love this! you are HYSTERICAL!
ReplyDeletelet me say it again! i love it!
